High Output LED Pre-Mixed Colour-Changing Fixture in a Robust, Fully Weatherised Housing for Outdoor Cove and Graze Lighting
HARMAN Professional Solutions, the global leader in audio, video, lighting and control systems, including networked AV, today announced the Martin Exterior Linear QUAD line, an LED color-changing cove and graze lighting system for outdoor spaces. The high output graze linears illuminate exterior walls and any other type of linear structure, and features superbly premixed colours and uniform light distribution at three different beam angles: Narrow 15°, Wide 60°, and Asymmetric 18° x 66°— ideal for highlighting textured surfaces.
Exterior Linear QUAD’s large high precision lenses provide accurate beam control and reduce glare, and is also available in a dedicated, lenseless cove version, which allows for a wide 120° spread for cove light applications. Accessory glare shields and louvres are available for additional glare reduction and improved visual comfort.
Producing superior colour mixing directly at the lens, the Quad-Colour LEDs efficiently prevent multicoloured shadows, and improve the looks and aesthetics of the fixture in direct view installations.
“When you combine powerful QUAD colour LEDs with a large diameter lens you get extremely low colour shadowing and great colour mixing from within the lens and best thing is; you still keep a narrow beam” says Robert Svensson, Solutions Manager—Architectural Lighting, HARMAN Professional Solutions. “This is very important for graze lighting applications.”
The Exterior Linear QUAD features a built-in power supply which auto-ranges 100-277 V, allowing for long fixture runs of up to 25 x 4 ft fixtures (100 ft at 230 V). The IP-rated hybrid power and data connector makes for smooth, daisy chainable installation of the DMX controllable fixture, and ensures hassle-free, fast installation with no extra control boxes required.
